          The artist is a great minor artist of the twentieth century and the twenty-first century
          Serious but Plaisantin too, because he was born at Plaisance du Gers(Here a pun, dear readers ,on the word Plaisance. A Plaisantin is the name given to an inhabitant of Plaisance. The English equivalent would be: "Serious but a joker too because he was born at Joke")

          Exiled in Bordeaux in the North (compared to the Gers, of course) N.B : The Gers is a region, a "department"about 130 miles in the south of Bordeaux .So he lived  in Bordeaux  -in Merignac exactly -until 2008  .Now he lives near Biarritz in Anglet in the basque Coast
          He was for 13 years the President of the famous "Groupe Expression" composed with many talented artists (I'm not the only one to say so).
          He is  a member of the "Indépendants d'Aquitaine" (another group of artists)
